FATAL TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT NEAR PRESCOTT CLAIMS LIFE OF KINGMAN MAN

Just before 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 1st, YCSO responded to a fatal injury accident involving a motorcycle and pickup truck at the intersection of Williamson Valley Road and Granite Oaks Drive northwest of Prescott, near the entrance to the Williamson Valley Trailhead.

Multiple deputies were on scene within a few minutes and upon arrival, off-duty paramedics were already rendering aid to the motorcycle rider, who was soon driven to a hospital in critical condition. YCSO was later advised that the 48-year-old Kingman man succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. Both vehicles were towed for evidence collection and deputies will be continuing their investigation of the collision.
