Hundreds of folks turned out for the annual National Night Out (NNO) Celebration in Camp Verde Oct 10th, and YCSO had a large presence, including three of its popular K-9s.

Tex, Radar, and Skye and their YCSO Deputy handlers participated in demonstrations of what they do in drug enforcement as part of the agency's setup that evening. YCSO personnel also handed out popular YCSO items including the new Deputy Do Right stickers, which were a big hit with kids and adults alike.

One of the highlights for our deputies and volunteers was receiving thank you cards from a young girl, Anastasia, who took the time to write a personal message in each card she presented to all YCSO and other personnel who participated in the NNO activities. One of the cards to YCSO read, "Thank you for your service. May God be with you whenever things get tough."

We truly appreciate all of the kind words of support we received from the folks who came out to honor all first responders, and we enjoyed meeting and interacting with those we serve in the Camp Verde area and beyond.
