YCSO INVESTIGATES COYOTE SPRINGS HOMICIDE

Prescott, Arizona (May 31, 2023) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) is investigating the homicide of Grant Griffiths (58) of Prescott Valley. Mr. Griffiths was found deceased in his home on Spurr Ln, located in the Coyote Springs subdivision, on the morning of May 29th, 2023.

Evidence indicates this murder may have taken place sometime during the evening of Sunday May 28th, 2023. There is no information to suggest there is any further danger to the public. YCSO detectives have notified the victim’s family, who are actively working with investigators.

We would like to thank the public for all the information that has come into our Criminal Investigations Bureau so far. The public support, and critical pieces of information we receive from the citizens of Yavapai County during these important times serve to strengthen the investigation and overall public safety response. Detectives are currently working numerous leads and are actively seeking answers surrounding this homicide.
