YCSO SWAT Unit Executes Search Warrant, Makes Arrest in Cordes Lakes

PRESCOTT ARIZONA(September 22, 2022) – Early yesterday morning the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit and Adult Probation executed a search warrant in Cordes Lakes and arrested David Black on charges of sexual abuse, sexual assault, as well as various drug related charges.

On Sept. 13, YCSO received information that 62-year-old Black allegedly sexually assaulted and abused the victim at his home during the previous three days.

Black, was convicted and is currently on probation for attempted sexual extortion, and is booked in the Yavapai County Jail in Camp Verde, Ariz.
